The New and Improved Duddy Kravitz

 Duddy and Yvette when cliff jumping and he now has a plan to buy that land and build a hotel with a children’s camp. He needed to get more money so he went back to Montreal to tell his father about his project and when the land was for sale he did everything he could to buy it.

 

Duddy has changed since the start of the story, he has become a lot more mature. For example, he isn’t throwing snowballs or being a bully anymore. He was working at a hotel, he then drove taxis around town, selling many other products just to be able to buy his piece of land for his future. He has become a business man looking for money wherever he can find it. 

Max, Duddy’s father has always promised him to one day meet Boy Wonder and this day has finally come. When Duddy meets with Boy Wonder, he finds out that his real name is Jerry Dingleman. Jerry then brings Duddy to New York with him but never seems to pay attention to him.
