His most important work

There are two important works that he wrote which became more popular than all the others he has made. First, there’s The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, and then, Barney's Version

The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz was written in 1959 and is a story based in Montreal. In this story, we can read about the adventures of Duddy Kravitz, a young man that has big dreams and how he makes them come true. In 1974, Ted Kotcheff even decided to make a movie based on his novel.

Barney's version is a novel written in 1997, that was also the object of a movie in 2010. This novel is about Barney's life. It’s like an autobiography of Barney, as we see a lot of events that happened in his life like the disappearance of his friend. Barney was found not guilty of the murder.
